John 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me.”
This verse has been here for so long, used so many times but yet so applicable. Trust in the Lord, do not be troubled. There is nothing more blatant than this. Trust in the Lord. Just trust in the Lord! What does it take to trust the Lord? Trust the Lord.
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to
you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts
be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Lord, your peace is always in trend. I want to receive your peace! Your peace is good for me! The peace that the world gives are not appealing. The peace that the world give us is temporary. It only lasts for a while. It does not satisfy us, but your presence satisfy. Your presence settles. Your presence gives life. Your presence is so satisfying and calms. Your presence commands us. Lord i want to receive more of your love!
Isaiah 40: 30,31 “Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will
renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will
run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Strength comes to those who find hope in the Lord. Strength comes first when we start to do God's will. Do we want to do God's will? Do we want to do God's will? Do we look to Him? Do we pick up the calls from the Lord? Or do we run away and answer our own calls? when we answer our own calls, then what happens? We just walk towards the Lord and sustain us on His strength.
