Pslams 2:12

Submit to God's royal son,or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities for his anger flares up in an instant.But what joy for all who take refuge in him!



These verse really spoke to me apart from the whole chapter 1 & 2 of Psalms.I;ve began on a fasting journey to seek God and this verse just says it all.It told me the way to  get intimate with God is through giving up the things you love for him.All the more I should do that during my fasting period because if I still hold on to the things I love, how can I focus on loving God?
We surrender all not because we fear or are weak.We do so because we know that God can substitute that for so much more,his love! which is eternal,never failing.

I really thank God for catching me back once again.Church was so good yesterday.

Which leads to another topic i wana share.

->PRAYING WITH AUTHORITY

Like what pastor was sharing during prayer.Often a time we just chit chat with God in prayer.Yes its healthy but how firm is that chit chat and asking from God?
I had a great experience with this.Initially I had to leave church at 530 to get home for an appointment.But I really pestered God throughout the whole service like an annoying kid who wants a toy badly.I asked

" GOD I really want to stay for this service,it is very very important to me in my journey of fasting,you fidn a way and help me adjust the time ,postpone it if you must or delay it so I can hear your word from Pastor."

"I pray that the message I receive will be of goodnews or allowing me to spend more time here at home,church."

True enough the sms came at 5.10 way earlier then I asked for.It was cancelled! postponed to next Sunday! Amazing huh,means I Can come to churhc without worrying either!
