^{Jesus teaches about building on a solid foundation}

<sup>Luke 6:46-49 

46</sup> “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? ⁴⁷ As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. ⁴⁸ They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. ⁴⁹ But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”


 I loved these verses the moment I stumbled upon it tonight.It really shows the importance of us building our faith & lives on God's words and obeying his instructions.
As mentioned  "As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice,I will show you what they are like. ⁴⁸ They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock.When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built."

This clearly shows that no matter the circumstances in future, how hard situations will turn out to be, we will be able to stand firm because of what we have build as our foundation and that is our relationship with God ! It is this relationship that teaches us the way we should lead our lives! God's way! Living life his way will divert you away from the path of Sin as well!



Let's then take a look at the verses which say the opposite!

"But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."”

This is quite clear cut, agreed? Destruction, getting lost and all negativity takes place to those who do not obey God's callings or words ! they are led astray !


So yup, obey,trust and lead life God's way are key points of luke 6:46-49
