SFB Scaffolding City

BRX did a really great job of putting forth that everything here is temporal. I thought that the scaffolding example was excellent and precise, explaining the true magnitude of the problem. It really reminds me that God and heaven is our destination, not in this world. We need to look forward and see our true purpose. If we are too caught up with the workings of this world, then we have a problem. Then we have lost sight on what is our original plan. Our plan to be in heaven with Christ and God. If we ever lose sight of that, that will be the end of us. We would not see the world as Christ sees, but we will see how the world see. That is very scary; the world sees the world as a permanent place. Ie. there is no life after death. When you die, you just die. You are born because you are born. There is no right nor wrong. Sin is okay, happiness is everything. That will become us if we subscribe to the world. We have to continually remind yourself that what we have here is a scaffold. Everything will pass and we will all be in heaven. So, live in accordance to His word and do not lose sight and remember that this world is just a scaffold. No longer should we live according to the world. Pride is a stumbling factor to many, and i have one of them. I think i have the pride of life. In past accomplishments and status. It does  not activate often, just once in a while. I can resolve this by committing to humble service. Take more time to serve in my family in love and in respect. I think that will really help me in long run.
