John 19:10-11

New International Version (NIV)

¹⁰ “Do you refuse to speak to me?” Pilate said. “Don’t you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?”

¹¹ Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.”


This is the part where Jesus was on the verge  of being crucified.The Soldiers placed a thorn crown on his head to mock Jesus because he claimed he was Song oF God, King of Kings.
From how Jesus answered we can tell how firm he was,how much faith he had In the father above.What we can learn from this ?When task by God, will we turn away from our calling/duties? turn into temptation of simply taking the easy way out?Jesus could have down that when Pilate asked Jesus to make a choice of crucification or freedom.Will you?
