Judgement Completed

46 On that day twenty-five thousand Benjamite swordsmen fell, all of them valiant fighters. 47 But six hundred of them turned and fled into the wilderness to the rock of Rimmon, where they stayed four months. 48 The men of Israel went back to Benjamin and put all the towns to the sword, including the animals and everything else they found. All the towns they came across they set on fire.

The Lord delivered judgement as He saw fit. He used Israel to deliver His judgement on the Benjamites.Sin is really condemned in the old testament and the judgement resulting from the sin is immediate. We really need to thank Jesus fro dying on the cross for us. Because if He did not, we would all be living with laws, with the fear of law and the fear of judgement. But today we live not just based on the law but with His love. We live with His love. His love that led Him to be sacrificed on the cross, is the same one that every single person on the face of the earth possess. Or else, we would really be living in fear of God's righteous judgement. He died on the cross, as the perfect sacrifice, to pay the price of all our sins through death. Even though the sinful nature is still within us, we need to counter it with Jesus' love. I thank God for everything that He had done because He is good and righteous.
