SFB~ Hebrews

I am extremely impacted by Hebrews 11:1-6. This verse is deeply rooted in our faith. Our relationship with God is built from faith. Faith is the key. It is stated "By faith we understand". We are actually mentioned in this. By faith we understand that universe was formed by God. It really means that we really do not know for absolutely sure and can prove that but by faith we understand that. It must be very odd to say "by faith we understand". Its like saying by faith I understand Math. It is not logical to us! Precisely the point for faith. Faith is faith, complete trust or confidence. Faith not logic. Every single example here is talking about faith and faith's power to God. By faith Abel bought God a better offering. Both Abel and Cain did not have a rulebook to follow to give a sacrifice, but by faith Abel got a better offering. By faith. It is so powerful. By faith He brought a blood offering. By faith, not knowledge. He did not know, but by faith. Faith is so powerful. The rest of the passage continue to talk about more people with faith. and all of them did everything they did by faith, not by knowledge. All by faith. We need to do things by faith. Faith that God will save your family. Faith that God will help you go through your situation.

So Since Faith is so important, we need to treasure it! What pastor said was really true. I like the part about little foxes. Little foxes are little problems that cause us to stumble not immediately but slowly. And that will creep on us slowly. Which are things that we really need to solve. I thank Pastor Long for the word!
