Ruth 2

2 Now Naomi had a relative on her husband’s side, a man of standing from the clan of Elimelek, whose name was Boaz.

² And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in whose eyes I find favor.”
Naomi said to her, “Go ahead, my daughter.” ³ So she went out, entered a field and began to glean behind the harvesters. As it turned out, she was working in a field belonging to Boaz, who was from the clan of Elimelek.
⁴ Just then Boaz arrived from Bethlehem and greeted the harvesters, “The Lord be with you!”
“The Lord bless you!” they answered.
⁵ Boaz asked the overseer of his harvesters, “Who does that young woman belong to?”
⁶ The overseer replied, “She is the Moabite who came back from Moab with Naomi. ⁷ She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves behind the harvesters.’ She came into the field and has remained here from morning till now, except for a short rest in the shelter.”
⁸ So Boaz said to Ruth, “My daughter, listen to me. Don’t go and glean in another field and don’t go away from here. Stay here with the women who work for me. ⁹ Watch the field where the men are harvesting, and follow along after the women. I have told the men not to lay a hand on you. And whenever you are thirsty, go and get a drink from the water jars the men have filled.”
¹⁰ At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She asked him, “Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me—a foreigner?”

Naomi and Ruth went to Bethlehem and Ruth was looking for a place to glean. To glean means to pick bit by bit, in other words the leftovers of what was not picked by the men. In the start of the paragraph, it is clearly stated that Naomi has a relative, named Baoz. And later we realized that Ruth was working/gleaning in a field owned by Baoz.There is not such thing as a coincidence. Lord arranges everything and everything work for the good of Jesus Christ.

Even though we are facing difficulties or obstacles in our lives, we should not fret and complain, because the Lord will provide. And He provides in the most miraculous and wonderful ways. In the case of Ruth, the Lord led her to a field owned by her mother-in-law's relative. Moreover, the relative was kind enough to give grace upon her. What' more? He is actually genuinely concerned about Ruth, as seen in"daughter, listen to me. Don't go and glean in another field and don't go away from here." He was concerned about her well being and safety. 

From this we really need to remember, that God provides for all and He will provide. It is not he may provide but He will provide.

Do Not Worry

²⁵ “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? ²⁶ Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? ²⁷ Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life^[e]?
²⁸ “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. ²⁹ Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. ³⁰ If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? ³¹ So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ ³² For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. ³³ But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. ³⁴ Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
